I just wanted to say that I appreciate the amount of information on the development and plans for Behold that you write. It must take hours. I have been tracking the web site for some time and have been looking forward to trying out this concept. It's nice to see someone finally doing somthing different. Most genealogy programs all do the same thing, just in a different format.
I respect you for your effort and hard work in starting from "scratch".

I will write a few things down as I test it and get back to you in a week. I'll probably buy it too.

Thanks for the nice words. I hope through what I am doing and some of the concepts I believe in and write about, that genealogy will change for the better.

It does take a lot of my time, but this is a labor of love and (after my family) is my life's ambition.

Besides, I have dozens of boxes and binders of my own genealogy info that have been sitting patiently awaiting Version 2.0 of Behold so that I can enter it all. So I am motivated!

Actually I was looking at your web page and your ideas for what info to include on a web site was quite good.

I already have written down a few suggestions and problems. Where should I send them (this forum I guess?). I'll look through your pages again first before I send them to you.

It would be great if you could send your suggestions to the Features Suggestions section of this Forum, and your problems to the Problem Reports section of this Forum. That way, other users can see and comment on them as well.

I'm now finishing off the alpha version (adding the last few features that will be in Version 1) and will release the first beta version in September. That's when I'll work to get rid of all bugs and problems and make Behold a solid program ready for its official Version 1 release in (hopefully) December.
