Silence is golden … except in the case of Blogs. I like to make entries and document my progress and when I don’t, it’s either because I’ve been doing non-Behold related things and haven’t had the time, or because I’ve got stuck.
Getting stuck is no fun and for a few weeks that’s where I’ve been. I have my linking structure all set up, and while trying to print the linking info nicely, I ran into a logical roadblock with the individual/family links that I maintain in both a forward and reverse direction (see my May 23rd entry).
Without going into too much horrendous detail, I made several attempts to get these to work with my existing structures and alternatively I tried several different ways of extending the structure. My family has seen me walk around like a zombie for the last few weeks as my mind subconsiously worked on the problem. Well, I think I’ve now got what I need. I’ll know after I program it over the next day or two.
I’ve also got to try to get as much done as possible in the next few days, because I see that the current Alpha Version of Behold expires in 12 days. I’ll make sure I put a new version up by the end of this weekend.
