Converted all my Behold pages over to my new colors and font. This wasn’t really that tough. There were about four places on each page where a few lines needed to be modified. Then I removed all the rainbow dividers I had. Finally, I had to make sure that they worked in the major web browsers: Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, and Mozilla Firefox. Quite a few little tweaks were needed to ensure the pages looked almost equivalent in all four of them.
It was a bit sad changing this blog to the same format, since I had some really neat color morphing and font changing capabilities in it that I liked.
But overall, I think these pages now have a very unique web look that not everyone will like, but everyone is sure to remember. I hope people don’t get the wrong impression by the pastel colors. What’s wrong with pastel anyway?
I also finished the Welcome Issue of my newsletter which will be sent to someone after they subscribe. I’ve decided to send my newsletter out every second Tuesday, and it will have genealogy tips, computer tips, surveys, genealogy software news, and of course news about Behold.
Also purchased and installed my e-mailing software. In case you are interested, I am using Spd E-Letter by PensaWorks. I did a lot of comparison between the various programs over the last year, and this program had the most of what I needed for my Newsletter and other automated tasks.
