SSI is not working on my new host, hence the missing update date. But I've since changed the pages to PHP for more functionality than SSI provides and automatically adding the update date is simple.

I've suggested to Tamura that he simply change the suffix on his pages from .xhtml to .html and then everyone will be able to view his material. But the decision is up to him.
None-the-less, the reviews are superb, and are very worth viewing.

Even today, XML has not made any significant impact in genealogy software. And you ask the average computer user about XML and they won't know what you're talking about. In fact most web developers don't know the difference between HTML and XML.

XML 1.0 only became a W3C Recommendation in February 1998. RSS feeds became based on them. But it really took until the onset of Web 2.0 and Microsoft's adoption of them for their default Office formats before it become something important.

Delphi's default memory manager was changed to FastMM4 a few years ago, so I'm looking forward to the improvements that alone will provide. From what I recall in reading about it some time ago, I don't think the full debug mode is included in the version in Delphi, but there is some debugging and probably logs ...
