Behold Database Plans - Forum post by rwcrooks in General Discussion - 16 Jun 2019

Louis, Of course, if you choose to use someone else’s db design, then you’ll be beholden (sorry, I just had to say that) to them for db design changes. You will have to adapt your db to their structure when they make changes. That said, I know how hard it is to design a solid, fast db and it would be a ...

Living Up To Expectations - Blog comment by rwcrooks - 22 Jun 2015

Louis, I wonder how many of the reviewers have ever tried to write a program as complex as Behold? Or any program for that matter? I purchased Behold many years ago and although I don't use it daily, I do use it, like it and find it useful. As for your pricing model, it works for me. As for speed and ...

Speed Enhancements - Forum post by rwcrooks in General Discussion - 21 Nov 2006

Louis,All I can say is "WOW!"What a huge improvement. I can't believe all the work that Behold is doing in such a short time when it opens.Even if there were no other enhancements with this dot release, this would have been more than enough!Rich

Should Behold continue to support Windows 98? - Forum post by rwcrooks in General Discussion - 11 Jan 2006

I haven't been on 98 in ages. I wouldn't waste your time (I'm pretty sure that the subject and preposition are mismatched in there). Let's face it, XP has been out sine 2001 or 2002, which makes it 4 years old.Concentrate on the present and future.

Sources - Forum post by rwcrooks in Feature Suggestions - 27 Sep 2005

WAAAAAA, WAAAAAA, WAAAAA!!!I thought that if I cried loud enough maybe this feature would end up in the product sooner. I'm sure that was loud enough ... maybe not long enough.Or maybe I need to keep asking "Are we there yet?"Just put it in whenever it's the right time to do so. I can wait. After all, I've got ...

I wanna buy! - Forum post by rwcrooks in General Discussion - 27 Sep 2005

Louis,Whatever you did fixed it. Somehow, through the miracles of modern technology $20 (US, that is) magically transferred itself from my pocket to yours, and 16 characters appeared in an e-mail message to me. That's more than a dollar a character! I think I got the better end of the deal, though.Rich

Sources - Forum post by rwcrooks in Feature Suggestions - 26 Sep 2005

Louis, this latest release is really nice, tieing up a lot of loose ends.It would be nice to have the OPTION to print the source title and citation (Page) in the report instead of just the code. I know that this could add many pages to a printout (mine is 408 pages long now), but it would be nice to not have to ...

I wanna buy! - Forum post by rwcrooks in General Discussion - 26 Sep 2005

Ok Louis,I've freeloaded off of you long enough. I want to buy (certainly before the price goes up), but for some reason plimus doesn't seem to be cooperating. The buy now page never loads.
