I like the concept of date phrases for anything that isn't a standard date. That is definitely illegal syntax. </p> <p>There is no "correct" or "not correct" regarding converting non-valid dates to a date phrase. It is my personal opinion that it is best to do so, so that the information entered is still associated with the date and is not lost. </p> <p>Behold already checks the date and if it can unambiguously figure out what date it is, it will internally convert it to the proper format. If not, it will turn it into a date phrase. So that code is already implemented. There's just nowhere, until version 1.5, to output the result. You need the year to have a month and you need the year and the month to have the day. That was mentioned to me about 6 hours after the release, and I snuck that bug fix in a few minutes later, but didn't increment the version as I should have. So I'm coming clean now. </p> <p>Also, I meant to, but forgot to add an important, but simple change.
