Over at the Richview website the Richview website again, Sergey includes a list of applications using Richview. I often check them out and see what ideas they bring to the floor. One of them, TexNotes, has made great advances since I last checked their website. I have always been looking for a good simple note-keeper program that I could use mainly for my Delphi hints and tips and links and website notes and programming ideas and … you get the idea. Two others that also use Richview are MyInfo and Golden Section Notes. The three programs are really quite similar in what they do (as are another 20 programs like them), but the way they implement their features is very unique and individual. It is very interesting to study and compare them. Which one is best? That is a matter of personal opinion and I don’t have a favorite yet. But the setup of those programs, with a tree section and a data section, are very similar to how Behold is being set up, and many of their ideas are good ones for Behold’s user interface.
