I’m amazed that my Genealogy Software Links page now turns up first on all the major search engines (google, alltheweb, teoma, hotbot, msn and yahoo) when you search for “genealogy program”. If you change it to “genealogy programs”, it comes in at 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Searching for “genealogy software” and it ranges from 11th to 27th place. I really didn’t do anything significant to the page but it moved up on all the web searches on its own. Just last April, it showed up between 2nd and 6th on the 6 engines.
