Hi Uwe, I'm putting my information, which I trust, up on FamilySearch, for others to access and possibly connect to. I always evaluate any information I get from FamilySearch (or from anyone else's genealogy for that matter) before adding it to my family tree. Louis

Thanks JBonevich for letting me know that link is gone. I'll remove it from my article. You might still be able to find the document at archive.org. GEDCOM specs are still technically copywritten documents by the LDS Church. Hopefully one day, they'll make all their early GEDCOM specs available to everyone.
