I can see that from your side it is simpler, but from my side it'll mean that when I download a new version I will have to try and rename it to reflect the new version - because, from (bad) experience, I have found it never hurts to keep at least the current (and tested) version around .... just in case :-)

When trying to get a new version it would be helpful if you could add the version to behold-setup-xx.yy.exe and/or into the setup executable properties so they will show when one hovers the mouse over the install file

Given that Behold won't write a (corrected) GEDCOM file for some time, what might be the best alternative to use in the meantime to avoid having to go over the issues which will arise as more data is entered.
